Get Better At Home

Practices are designed to make you a better player, but real improvement comes from the work you put in at home. We have gathered resources to help you find the right equipment that lets you perform your own drills outside of practice.

Required equipment: Stick, goggles, mouthguard, cleats, balls, & a backpack if you would like.

Required equipment: Certified helmet, NOCSAE certified shoulder pads, arm pads/guards, gloves, stick, mouthguard and cleats

  • Warrior Burn Junior (appropriate for youngest players with head sizes of 18.5-20.75”)
  • Cascade CPV-R (youth helmet appropriate for head sizes 20.5-23.5”; see size chart on linked page)
  • Warrior Burn (appropriate for our more advanced players; see size chart on linked page)

  • We offer equipment rentals, but are also here to advise the right gear purchases for your player
  • Your best deal on a helmet will come from our team. We buy helmets in bulk to pass on the savings to you.

  • 4’ x 4’ goal – ages 10 & under ($129.99)
  • 6’ x 6’ goal – ages 11+
  • Shooting target or shot blocker – covers areas of the net where a goalie is likeliest to make saves

Cradle Baby – ball on a lanyard that lets you practice cradlng inside without fear of breaking anything ($19.50)

Lacrosse Rebounder – takes the place of a wall for wall ball if your house has lots of windows

About US

Kingfisher Lacrosse represents the first organized club structure to appear in Eastern Iowa. Kingfisher Lacrosse is the operational name of the Cedar Rapids – Iowa City Lacrosse Club, a volunteer led, 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2020 to guide the development of youth lacrosse in the greater Cedar Rapids - Iowa City area.
